While serving as the U.S. Army's Entertainment Liaison, Greg Bishop and Brian Chung worked extensively on this blockbuster film. Greg was the lead DoD project officer for the desert battle scenes and post-production. He provided on-set technical advising, equipment support (including helicopters, tanks, Bradley fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, trucks), location support, managed more than 100 active-duty military extras and provided ADR support in post production. Brian served as the lead Army liaison for post-production insert shots which included technical advising on tactical movement, wardrobe and dialogue. Musa assisted in planning and successfully pitching the Series Premiere of "Crash Course" to the Department of Defense in order to gain unprecedented support that proved to be mutually beneficial for the United States Army as well as the show. The producers sought our assistance because they wanted the host, Richard Hammond, to drive an M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank. After rigorous training, Richard was not only able to drive the tank, but he crushed his three favorite cars, and completed an entire tank gunnery in all four positions (yep...he got to send rounds down range!). Musa consulted on a TV spot for Devry University that was shot in Capetown, South Africa. The budget didn’t support flying our consultant all the way to Capetown so we leveraged technology to consult via internet video teleconferencing. The only special requirement was for set-side wi-fi to ensure we could connect anywhere we were needed.
